Bengaluru, India — January 2027 — JIANYE UNITY CO., LTD. a pioneer in high-precision machine tool manufacturing, officially announces its upcoming display at IMTEX 2027 (January 21–27, 2027, at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre).
Spotlighting the intersection of advanced machining and global automation, JIANYE UNITY will demonstrate its flagship KM-116-5 Dual-Spindle 5-Axis Swiss-Type CNC Lathe, engineered to supply the micro-precision hardware foundation required by the rapidly growing AI hardware, humanoid robotics, medical devices, and electric vehicle (EV) sectors.

The exponential growth of Generative AI and Humanoid Robotics is driving an unprecedented demand for ultra-precise, miniature mechanical components. From tactile sensor housing pins and micro-actuator shafts in robotic hands to high-density fiber-optic connectors in AI data centers, modern hardware design requires complex multi-axis turning and milling on extremely small workpieces.
Traditional turning centers struggle with thermal drift, tool interference, and material waste on slender micro-parts. The KM-116-5 Swiss-Type CNC Lathe bridges this technological gap, delivering a stable, automated platform capable of continuous batch production for high-complexity micro-hardware.
Equipped with a main spindle and a fully integrated sub-spindle controlled via a 5-axis dual-channel system, the KM-116-5 completes complete front-and-back operations—including turning, off-center cross-drilling, milling, and rigid tapping—in a single, automated setup. This eliminates manual secondary handling and guarantees sub-micron coaxiality.
To adapt dynamically to shifting production requirements, the KM-116-5 allows operators to toggle seamlessly between Guide Bushing Mode (for high-aspect-ratio slender shafts used in robotic joints and medical probes) and Non-Guide Bushing Mode (reducing remanent bar material length to minimize costly raw metal waste on short parts).
Featuring a versatile tool matrix supporting up to 6 high-speed live tools (running at up to 6,000 RPM), the machine performs complex 3D contouring, polygon machining, and transverse thread milling directly on small bar stock—ideal for aerospace electrical pins and precision EV sensor housings.
As global manufacturers navigate rising labor costs and tight supply chain timelines, the KM-116-5 integrates standard automated collection units, workpiece receivers, and automated bar feeder interfaces. This setup enables round-the-clock "lights-out" operation, reducing labor dependencies and significantly lowering overall capital expenditure (CAPEX) compared to multi-machine setups.
"The rapid rise of AI and robotics demands a new tier of precision manufacturing hardware," said the international marketing director at JIANYE UNITY. "At IMTEX 2027, we look forward to showing engineers and global buyers how the KM-116-5 translates complex micro-component challenges into high-yield, cost-effective production reality."
