First batch of high-precision grinding machines shipped to Thailand to boost Southeast Asia’s AI robot manufacturing. Featuring dual-spindle grinding, the equipment produces inverted planetary roller screws and micro dexterous hand screws with ±1μm pitch tolerance for mass production of robotic arm core components.
Southeast Asia is accelerating the development of AI manufacturing and high-end machinery industries. Mass production capacity for core components of humanoid robots and robotic arms has become a key bottleneck for the region’s smart manufacturing upgrade. Recently, our first batch of high-precision grinding machines was successfully delivered to a Thailand-based robot R&D and manufacturer and installed at its local factory. The equipment supports mass production of core transmission parts for robotic arms, empowering the regional robot industrial chain with premium precision machining capabilities.

The delivered precision grinding machines adopt a dual-spindle grinding configuration, enabling multi-process simultaneous machining to greatly boost production efficiency, which perfectly fits high-volume manufacturing of robot screws. The equipment is capable of processing inverted planetary roller screw nuts with a large length-to-diameter ratio (OD32*L146mm) and micro screws for humanoid robot dexterous hands (minimum OD3 internal thread nuts). It maintains a pitch tolerance of ±1μm, meeting the ultra-precise transmission requirements of joints and dexterous hands for humanoid robots and overcoming technical challenges in grinding micro and large length-to-diameter precision threads.
With solid expertise in precision machinery, we have earned deep trust from our robotics client. Tailored grinding equipment and process solutions were developed to address the practical production challenges in the customer’s robotic arm and humanoid robot R&D and manufacturing. Once fully operational, the machines will enable independent production of core components at the customer’s Thailand facility and reduce reliance on overseas supply chains.
